Selma plays top roles in some very prestigious films

2010 sees Selma Blair starring in a new movie. The Columbus Circle has a budget of ten million dollars, and is being directed by George Gallo. The film is an independent thriller which is co written by George Gallo, director, and Kevin Pollak.

Along with Selma, Giovanni Ribisi, Beau Bridges, Amy Smart, Jason Lee and Kevin Pollak star in The Columbus Circle. Selma plays the role of Abigail, a reclusive heiress who has shut herself inside her apartment building for nearly twenty years. Abigail is then brought face to face with her fears as one of her neighbors is killed and she is involved in the investigation.

When the original apartment block resident dies, Abigail gets new neighbors. She begins to here strange sounding activities from these new neighbors across the hallway. Abigail comes to the aid of her new neighbor, Lillian after the husband leaves her half dead. A unique friendship starts to develop. This is the first new relationship Abigail has had since childhood. In time, Abigail realizes that this is not really a friendship and that the relationship is a scheme to steal her identity and wealth. It is a scheme to take all that is important to the agoraphobic heiress.

Giovanni Ribisi plays one of the detectives and Jason Antoon is Detective Jerry Eaans. Amy Smart plays the role of a new neighbor in the building as does Jason Less. Kevin Pollak takes the role of Klandermann, the buildings concierge. Beau Bridges is Dr Raymond Fontaine and Abigail’s only confidant. Samm Levine is the bank manager and Robert Guillaume plays the role of Howard Miles. The Columbus Circle is currently being filmed in Los Angeles. This is a great new role for Selma and is a much anticipated film.
